Mediso accepts no compromises in the imaging performance of the nanoScan® PET/MRI 3T system. Due to the tailor-made shielding developed as an integral part of the specially designed and shimmed cryogen-free magnet with low fringe field, and avoiding any non-established techniques the unique high performance of the PET subsystem is intact.

MRI subsystem: 3T

The nanoScan® MRI 3.0 provides images with excellent resolution and with very high sensitivity. Through a clinical 3T magnetic field, the system allows the Translational in vivo imaging of small animals and is particularly suitable for examinations requiring greater sensitivity, including brain imaging.

The PET component of the nanoScan® PET/MRI 3T system delivers images with the highest resolution of all commercially available systems with high sensitivity at the same time. The spatial resolution can reach 0.7 mm with Tera-Tomo™ PET 3D iterative reconstruction which is visible in the Derenzo phantom image.
